CHIPPENHAM MP Michelle Donelan and a 10-strong team of willing volunteers are hoping to raise £500 and help save lives on Sunday (May 8).

They are all training hard to take part in Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s “It’s a Knockout” challenge at Melksham Rugby Club.

Miss Donelan said: “My team and I are really looking forward to taking part in this weekend’s event.

“I am delighted to take up any opportunity to support the Air Ambulance and this is great way to have a lot of fun at the same time.

“My team includes Wiltshire councillors, Edward Kirk, Nic Puntis, Daniel Cave and friends.

“It costs £11,000 a day to keep our air ambulance in the air so please do help if you can.”

Based on the famous TV show of the same name, the safe, fun and incredibly entertaining fundraising event has attracted a wide range of teams, regardless of age or fitness levels.

It will see those taking part compete in series of wacky and wonderful challenges.

The main objective is to raise £500 or more for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Already, she has raised £265 towards her goal.
