The rehoming charity Bath Cats and Dogs Home welcomes all sorts of cases from Wiltshire, and the charity shared that they all have very different personalities.

Could you be the right person to get matched with these four-legged friends?

Here are a few of the dogs that have been rescued from Wiltshire recently:

Paddy

Paddy has been described as a ‘lovely chap.’ A spokesperson for the charity said: “His favourite things are fuss, toys and lounging on the sofa.

“Paddy would like a home with older children and where someone is around most of the time.

“Any time left alone should be built up slowly as he loves people so much, it is difficult for him to be on his own… He would enjoy walking in quieter locations where he is unlikely to be surprised by an off-lead dog.

“To ensure Paddy reaches his full potential, his new owners will need to be interested in positive training techniques and happy to continue supporting his training going forward. He is sure to be a very rewarding dog, but it may take some time for him to settle in a home.”

Jasmine

Jasmine is known as a ‘sweet but sensitive girl’ meaning she will need someone extra patient to take care of her.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “She arrived as a nervous little dog that found life hard to cope with.

“With lots of time and consistency, Jasmine will learn to trust and become braver.

“Jasmine has enjoyed making new canine friends and they have helped her to gain confidence on walks.

“She has the potential to live with another dog to help her learn the ropes.”

“She enjoys her walks when taken at her own pace in quiet locations away from lots of traffic, and in a consistent, calm and loving home, we feel Jasmine has the best chance of success.

“She can live with adults and potentially another dog pending introductions here at Bath Cats and Dogs Home.”

Jonboy

People-loving Jonboy is an ‘affectionate boy’ and enjoys spending time with people.

Describing the Jack Russell, the charity’s spokesperson said: “He loves playing and enjoys his toys including his favourite tennis balls. He is an active boy who enjoys his walks and loves to be outside sniffing, so will benefit from living in a quiet but active household with his own garden.
