Police arrested a man following a lengthy pursuit across three counties.
Officers from Wiltshire Police’s roads policing unit, armed unit and a dog unit were alerted to a white Seat after it failed to stop for Thames Valley Police in Berkshire.
They located the vehicle and pursued it along the M4 near Swindon.
Avon and Somerset Police officers brought the chase to a safe conclusion.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 7.35pm on Wednesday (11/05) we received information from colleagues at Thames Valley Police regarding a vehicle which had failed to stop for police in their area of the M4.
“The vehicle, a white Seat, was located travelling westbound on the M4 in Wiltshire and a pursuit was authorised.
“The driver continued to fail to stop for our officers, before eventually being stopped in the Avon and Somerset force area shortly before 8.25pm.
“A 54-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
“He is currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon.”
