Gloucestershire County Council has announced that there will be a number of road closures in the next few weeks.
The Royal International Air Tattoo is taking place at RAF Fairford across the weekend of July 15-17, with a celebration to mark 75 years since the formation of the United States Air Force.
As a result, a number of road closures will be in place and motorists travelling from Swindon towards Cheltenham on the A417/A419 should be aware.
The road closures are as follows.
- Fairford Road: Junction of the A417 to the junction with Rhymes Lane. Closure date: July 13 to July 18
- Rhymes Lane: Junction of Fairford Road to the junction with Rhymes Lane. Closure date: July 13 to July 18
- Rhymes Lane: To the junction of Ash Copse. Closure date: July 13 to July 18
- Dunfield Loop: Junction of Mount Pleasant to the junction with C124. Closure date: July 13 to July 18
- Swanborough Lane and Queens Road: Junction with the B4019 to the junction of the C145. Closure date: July 16 to July 17. 6am-9pm.
- Nell Hill, Hannington Lane and Bridge Farm: Junction with the C117 to the junction with 3.172.
