There’s a new Love Islander from our neck of the woods making an impression on the villa.

George Tasker, from the Cotswolds has arrived at Casa Amor, a brand new villa where the girls have been put to the test by being given the opportunity to ‘get to know’ six new faces.

The challenge is for them to decide if they can form a better connection than they have made with their original partner from the main villa.

George, 23, said he is a labourer in his first conversation with the girls.

Wiltshire Times:

On his Instagram, George has posted many pictures of him enjoying the local countryside, as well as one photo of him petting some miniature ponies.

On the first night, he shared a bed with Ekin-Su despite her being coupled up with Davide after they both discussed the fact they; ‘sleep like logs.’

However, Ekin-Su and Davide have experienced a rollercoaster start to the relationship in the villa, meaning it could be the perfect time for George to swoop in as her knight in shing armour.

When he was asked why he wanted to be on the show, George said: "I’ve been single now for three years.

"I had a relationship with a girl from Australia - my only girlfriend.

"It was a long distance relationship so 10,000 miles apart for almost three years.

"I’m a lot more mature now and I know what I want in a relationship."

"I am definitely competitive but I’m more of a perfectionist with myself.”

Many fans took to Twitter, noting they were confident the new Islander would do well on the show.

"I’m in there to try and find someone and if that means treading on people's toes, then that means treading on toes.

"If it feels right and she feels right with me then you’d be stupid not to go for it - you’ve got to follow your heart.

"If there is something genuine then I’m going to go for it.”

He also doesn’t seem to mind the possibility of shaking up a few feathers while being on the hit show.

George added: “At the end of the day, I’m not afraid to step on anyone’s toes or break anyone up.

“I know what I’m looking for and I’m not afraid to get it.”

Many fans have also already got behind the potential pairing of him and Ekin, and wished them well.
