FOUR vehicles parked at the Gateway Shopping Centre car park in Trowbridge have been wrecked after one of them was deliberately torched and the fire spread.

The damage was apparently caused by a thief who broke into a vehicle at the Gateway car park and then deliberately set it alight to cover his tracks.

Three other cars parked next to the vehicle were also damaged in the subsequent fire.

It is believed that a number of DeWalt tools have been stolen from one of the cars.

The incident took place between 2am and 4am on Sunday morning.

Trowbridge Police have appealed for information. Anyone who can help is asked to call on 101 quoting log 54220071917.
