VANDALS have caused criminal damage to the famous White Horse overlooking Westbury.
Police are seeking information on those who caused the damage by using pink paint or chalk to scrawl MH loves SJ with a heart, as well as chipping off some of the concrete surface of the monument.
The Westbury White Horse is an English Heritage site. The organisation, which protects England's historic sites, said: “Westbury White Horse is an important and beautiful historic site, and we are really disappointed to learn of the recent damage.
"We are working with the local police to look into this matter – and we would ask the local community to help us all protect this local icon.”
