The rehoming charity Bath Cats and Dogs Home welcomes rescues lots of animals from Wiltshire, all with very different personalities.

Could you be the right person to get matched with these four-legged friends?

Here are a few of the dogs and cats that have been rescued from Wiltshire recently:

Dogs:

Watson

Watson is a 10-year-old Lurcher and is one of the dogs from our county looking for a new start.

As it says on his bandana, the charity says that he loves treats.

He is initially shy of new people so is hoping to find a quieter home, perhaps with someone who works from home and would love a companion.

Watson isn’t keen on interacting with other dogs but will happily wear his muzzle on walks, and loves playing indoors (especially with his squeaky toys).

Peggy

Although the one and a half year old crossbreed, Peggy is a larger girl, she is quite shy in nature and can be worried by people she doesn’t know.

Once confident, she turns into a cuddly companion and bas lots of energy.

Peggy already knows how to sit so would love some more training and potentially guidance with housetraining, and is looking for an adult-only home without other animals.

Cats:

Tiny

17-year-old Tiny is a sweet natured girl who sadly hasn’t had any successful adoption applications yet.

She can be a little shy to begin with, but will affectionately head-bop you to let you know she wants some attention and chin rubs.

Tiny needs to be in an only pet, and as she has previously only lived indoors, she would best suit a quiet, adult-only home in a location with a safe outdoor space so she can explore if she wants to.

Bubbles

The gorgeous Bubbles is 12 years old, but despite her age, she is still active and would love to find a home with a bit of outdoor space to enjoy a stroll.

She loves having fuss and attention as well as playing with toys.

Although affectionate, she would prefer a home without children and other pets as she no longer wants to interact with other cats or dogs.

There is a three-step process to adopt a pet cat or dog from Bath Cats and Dogs Home, for the answers to any questions you can visit theire FAQ section.

If you aren’t able to adopt a pet, you can also support the charity by attending their Wag Walk on September 4.
