Plant enthusiasts have the chance to enjoy the horticultural vision of Secret Gardens of the Cotswolds writer Victoria Summerley.
They can also meet the chickens Molly, Polly and Holly who moved into their own run under the horse chestnut tree at Awkward Hill Cottage, Bibury.
The half-acre garden features a wildlife pond with waterfall, a container garden for fruit and veg set on gravel to deter slugs and beautiful views over the surrounding fields and meadows.
Seating areas, sunny terraces and a mix of formal and informal planting add to the atmosphere.
It is open on September 4 from 2 to 6pm. Admission is £6 adults, children go free. Visit ngs.org.uk for more.
