A rugby player who acts as an ambassador for Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been called up to represent his national team in the Six Nations.
Tom Dunn, 30, originally from Bath plays as a hooker for his local club Bath Rugby and has done since 2012.
The player has been called up for two previous editions of the Six Nations, with international outings coming for the hooker in both 2018 and 2020.
His third call up this year for the 2023 tournament came in later than other squad members as he was selected as an injury replacement.
Despite being known for his tackles and effort on the field, he is also greatly appreciated by the South West community for his hard work off it too.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance director of income generation and communications Barbara Gray said: "We're very proud to have Tom as an ambassador for our charity.
"He understands the importance of our lifesaving work across Wiltshire and Bath and we hope his ongoing support will help raise awareness and the funds we need to continue saving lives.
"Everyone at the charity would like to congratulate Tom on his call up for England ahead of the Six Nations."
England’s 2023 Six Nations campaign kicks off on Saturday, February 4, when they play host to Scotland at Twickenham Stadium.
