Plans have been revealed that would see part of a former Trowbridge nightclub converted into a residential home.
Waste metal reclamation boss Terry Shanley has applied for planning permission to turn part of 46-47 Church Street into a single one-bed home.

A Polish shop run by New Deli Ltd traded from the former Co-op store at 35 Church Street but closed this year.
Mr Shanley is a director of E J Shanley & Son (Trowbridge) Ltd, which is using Richard Harlow, of A Harlow & Son, of West Ashton, as its agent.
His company has operated a skip hire and waste metal reclamation centre in Shails Lane, Trowbridge, and in Warminster for the past 59 years.
He said: “Trowbridge needs a kick up the backside. It’s time some development took place.”
Wiltshire Council received the planning application on October 6 and is consulting on the plans until November 14. It is expected to make a decision by December 1.
The council gave permission for a previous application submitted in 2009 but that has now lapsed.
