A Wiltshire charity was featured as guests in a recent episode of Crimewatch.
The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust appeared on the BBC One show on Tuesday morning and got the chance to highlight the work they do to keep pensioners and people with additional needs safe and secure at their homes.
The charity funds the operation of three Bobby vans that provide mobile workshops for Bobby operators to secure homes.
The team of Stay Safe Online volunteers offers one-to-one home visits and community talks on online safety.
A spokesperson said: "What an amazing morning we had appearing live on BBC1's Crimewatch Live. Did you see us?
"Our director Jennie Shaw and home security operator Mick Leighfield told presenters Michelle Ackerley and Ray Wilding about our work and explained how we help keep people over 60 and those over 18 with disabilities safe in their home.
"Mick demonstrated his key-cutting skills and dispensed some useful crime prevention tips.
"Jennie spoke about our dementia bands and our Stay Safe Online service."
The trust aims to help people in Wiltshire and Swindon by improving the security of domestic premises occupied by the elderly and vulnerable to prevent burglary, hate crime and domestic abuse.
The episode can be viewed on the BBC iPlayer catch-up service.
