A man in his 40s has died following a suspected stabbing incident in a Wiltshire village.
Police were called to an address in Easterton, near Devizes shortly after 8pm on Tuesday, July 2 after receiving reports that a man had sustained stab wounds.
The man, in his 40s, died at the scene.
A woman in her 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and she has been taken to Melksham custody for questioning.
Wiltshire Police believe both individuals to be known to each other and they are reassuring people that they do not believe there to be a wider risk to the public.
They are asking anyone with information to call 101 and quote the log number 291 of July 2.
