Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) has appointed a new chair.
Paul Miller, currently the non-executive director at Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (BSW ICB), will take on the role at the mental health, learning disability, and autism provider from November 1.
He will step down from his position at BSW ICB at the end of October.
Mr Miller, who has been a non-executive director since the establishment of the integrated care board in July 2022, said: "It has been a privilege to be part of the ICB from day one.
"Being at the very start of new ways of working together across the NHS, local government, and the voluntary and community sector has been a turning point in making a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
“I leave my role with a great sense of pride in what the ICB and the wider system has achieved over the last two years."
He added: "My new role as chair of AWP enables me to continue to play an active role across BSW, and one that is focussed on improving the mental health of our diverse population at every stage of their adult lives."
