A burglary in Trowbridge has led to police warning residents and appealing for witnesses.
Officers received reports of a Victoria Road property being burgled at some point between 8pm and 8.30pm on Friday, October 18.
Three suspects took items from the address and were seen walking towards The Down and Wyke Road carrying bags.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has CCTV or doorbell cameras on Victoria Road and St Thomas Road that could assist police with their investigation should call 101 quoting reference 54240123691, or email footage of potential suspects and other relevant details to TrowbridgeAreaCPT@wiltshire.police.uk The county's police force has also issued advice on how people can keep their homes safe and secure.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "Be advised to make sure your doors and windows are kept locked.
"One in three burglaries gain access through an open window or door.
"Make sure sheds and garages are secure, locking away any tools or ladders that will assist a burglar.
"If you're out late leave one or two lights on to give the impression you're at home and never leave a spare key in a hiding place - burglars will look there first."
