Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, is managed by Forestry England and is renowned for its extensive tree and shrub collection.
It is home to nearly 15,000 labelled specimens across its 243 hectares.
The arboretum was founded in the 1850s by wealthy landowner Robert Holford and further developed by his son, George Holford.
Unlike many arboretums, Westonbirt is arranged based on aesthetic appeal rather than scientific or geographical criteria.
Being a prominent destination for nature lovers, Westonbirt draws 500,000 visitors annually and has a membership of more than 32,000 individuals.
Forestry England manages and cares for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests, over 291 million visits in 2022/23.
The festive light trail is a significant part of Westonbirt's Christmas celebrations, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the arboretum in a different light.
RG Live/Sony Music has been delivering hugely successful illuminated trails for more than ten years.
There are currently over 30 trails across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia within the Christmas, Halloween and Lightscape portfolios.
