An update has been issued after a lorry crashed into a town centre bus shelter.
During the morning of Thursday, March 20, a lorry collided with one of the bus shelters in Devizes Market Place smashing the glass and damaging the structure.
Police were called and Wiltshire Council officers also attended the scene to clear up the mess.
The bus shelter was cordoned off and Devizes Town Council has since confirmed it will be working to have the shelter back in working order as soon as possible.

A town council spokesperson said: “In the early hours of the morning there was a traffic incident in the Market Place where a vehicle collided with a bus shelter.
“Wiltshire Police along with officers from Wiltshire Council Highways attended and did a fantastic job clearing up the glass and cordoning the area due to the damage caused (thanks to all for such a rapid response).
“Devizes Town Council will be looking to reinstate the shelter as soon as possible.
“We do not as yet have a timescale for this and will put out an update when we know more.”
