The site of a national retailer continues to take shape in a Trowbridge shopping centre as plans progress.
As reported at the end of June, signs advertising site safety practices and indicating the presence of a commercial refurbishment specialist have been posted in the windows of the former Poundland unit set to be taken over by One Beyond and opened later this year.
According to one of the signs, the work looks set to be carried out by J. Projects, a company specialising in commercial refurbishment and alteration based in Somerset.
As of Friday, August 15, these signs have been removed and the outside of the unit painted a darker shade of blue.

In May, the Wiltshire Times reported that One Beyond, the chain formerly known as One Below, would be setting up shop in the large vacant unit.
The Wiltshire Times reported that the site had come under offer from a mystery party in November 2024, and it now appears to be taking shape.
News that a retailer was due to open in the town emerged earlier this year, when it was confirmed that a ‘national retailer’ would be coming to town.
The addition of another major retailer follows hot on the heels of the opening of Dunelm to queues of hundreds of eager shoppers at 9am this Monday, June 23.
