The longest-lasting female duo in Britain, Chris While and Julie Matthews, are set to perform in Corsham.

The pair, who have played more than 3,000 gigs and appeared on at least 100 albums, will perform at Pound Arts on October 23.

The duo, who have been performing together for more than 30 years, will play songs from their extensive back catalogue, including tracks from their latest album, 'Days Like These'.

This year, they were featured artists on Radio 2’s '21st Century Folk' and received widespread daytime coverage across the network.

They also made a TV appearance on The One Show and were highlighted on BBC Radio 4’s pick of the week.

The single of the song written for 21st Century Folk, ‘The Waiting Room’ was released on July 28.
