A man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment with fear of violence and threats to kill after an incident near Devizes.

The incident occurred at around 4pm on Monday, September 8, when police rushed to Market Lavington following reports of threats to kill.

A 26-year-old man was later arrested in the Littleton Panell, with police confirming he has been bailed while the continue their investigation.

Officers added there was no mention of any injuries, and that the man .

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “At around 4pm on Monday we responded to reports of threats to kill in the Market Lavington area.

“Following proactive enquiries, a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of harassment with fear of violence and threats to kill.

“He has been bailed while enquiries continue.”
