Budding young artists are being invited to enter a Christmas card competition launched by the Trowbridge Town Council.
The competition is open to children aged 12 and under, living in or attending school in Trowbridge.
Children have until 15th October to submit their entries themed 'The Night Sky', drawn by hand or digitally created on A4 paper.
Promising prizes for the festive contest, the council stated the winner will receive a £10 voucher and the chance to switch on the Christmas lights at Trowbridge Town Park on Friday, November 28.
The two runners-up will each receive a £5 book voucher.
Further spreading the festive cheer, proceeds from the winning card design will go to the Mayor’s chosen charity, The Mill Street Club.
The Mayor also encouraged neighbourhood children to take part, stating in a Facebook post: "Get creative and help spread some festive cheer!"
Entries can be sent by email to natasha.patterson@trowbridge.gov.uk or delivered in person to the Information Desk at The Civic Centre.
