Police have been called to a property in Wiltshire following concerns for the welfare of dogs.

Officers attended an address in Long Close Avenue, Corsham, on Wednesday, December 3, after a neighbour reportedly contacted them about an incident taking place at the property.

Wiltshire Police has confirmed that an investigation is underway and they have liaised with their dog unit, but they have not revealed any further details about the incident at this stage.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We have received a report regarding concerns for the welfare of dogs at a property in Long Close Avenue, Corsham.

"Police have attended the address and liaised with our dog unit. Enquiries are ongoing."
