Designer Outlet Swindon has issued an urgent appeal to shoppers, as several changes take place at the popular shopping centre.
The outlet has seen a variety of changes recently, since its takeover by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group at the end of 2025.
New shops such as Columbia and Weird Fish have opened up, whereas other popular brands such as Claire’s have left the outlet.
Frasers have said that they are hoping to support big brand partners, such as Adidas and Nike, with outlet strategies.
On April 17, Designer Outlet Swindon issued a call-out on their Facebook page, asking shoppers what retailers they want to see in the centre.
‘Drop your dream additions in the comments,” the post read.
“A Disney store or bring back Build a Bear,” said Phoebe Close.
“Coach, Monica Vinader, Astrid & Miyu and maybe some lesser known but cool brands such as Charles & Keith, Jw pei…,” said H Mac Kelvie.
“Nobody’s Child, Lucy and Yak, Joe Browns,” said Hannah Marquez.
“Abercrombie, Mulberry, Emma Bridgewater, Coach, vintage jewellery shops etc,” said Cerisa J Sansum.
“Flying Tiger and Dr Martens please,” said Laura Rogers.
“Something for the blokes who aren’t bothered about clothes. And of course LEGO,” said Simon Webb.
“Boots/Super Drug,” said Louie Hughes.
“Some sort of modern tech/electrical appliance shop, defo needs a couple more proper restaurants too not just fast food joints,” said Chris Benny.
“Bon Marche and Peacocks so I don’t have to go in the town centre,” said Jackie Bott.
