Hills Home Development has launched a public consultation for a 40-home development on land off West Ashton Road in Trowbridge.
The consultation offers residents a chance to share their views about the development, and will come to a close on May 25.
According to the online consultation, the proposed plans involve demolishing the new existing ‘Uplands’ dwelling, and "building 40 new homes, complemented by public open spaces, landscaping and sustainable drainage features."
The development would offer a mix of one- to -four bed homes, with 30 per cent of the dwellings to be affordable (12 in total).

Designs of the proposals appear to show the development will contained a large area of green space alongside the homes.
Elsewhere in the online consultation, the developers say the layout “is thoughtfully planned to provide ample space for the existing trees to reach maturity.”
The proposed site is adjacent to the Ashton Park development, which by the time it is complete will see 2,500 homes built.
The firm added that it hopes to submit a planning application for the scheme later this year.

Upon submission for planning approval, this scheme would be the latest in a swathe of housing developments set to come to the town.
In a major update, earlier this month Wiltshire Council gave the green light for two parcels of the first phase of Ashton Park.
The first phase will see more than 300 homes built on land between Trowbridge and the A350. Barratt Redrow, the developer behind one parcel of the homes to be built in the first round, has said they hope to begin building the homes in July of this year.
Taken as a whole, Ashton Park will consist of 2,500 houses and 13.6 hectares of employment along with two primary schools, a secondary school, two local centres and public open space.
Persimmon, who will be delivering some of the Ashton Park homes, previously told this paper they intended to open the first sales outlets on the site later in 2026, and said they were committed making sure they deliver homes by the end of this year.
