A man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, following a warrant in Malmesbury.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said that, on the morning of Wednesday, May 27, officers executed a drugs warrant at an address in Malmesbury following intelligence from the community.
A quantity of suspected Class A drugs was seized and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
He has since been bailed while police progress with the investigation.
PC Lloyd from the Malmesbury neighbourhood policing team said on May 27: “This morning, we've conducted a Section 8 Police and Criminal Evidence Act warrant at an address in Malmesbury, looking for Class A substances involved in drug supply.
“At this time, we’ve had one male arrested for offences relating to Class A drug dealing.
“These enforcement activities can only be conducted when we as a neighbourhood policing team get the intelligence from the communities.
“So we urge you to still come forward to us and speak to us so we can build intelligence pictures.”
