A busy Wiltshire supermarket was forced to close for hours after losing power.
The Sainsbury’s store at Elms Cross shopping centre in Bradford on Avon closed suddenly at around lunchtime on Thursday, June 4.
The store was hit by a power cut that lasted for just under two hours, forcing staff to close the supermarket to customers.
Once power was restored, the shop reopened and it is operating as usual at the time of writing.
A Sainsbury's spokesperson said: “Our Bradford on Avon store is open as usual following a temporary closure due to a power cut over lunch and we’re pleased to welcome our customers back in store.”

Several power cuts have hit homes and businesses in multiple towns across Wilshire throughout Thursday, June 4.
At the time of writing, nearly 100 properties in Calne were still without power and this issue was not expected to be fixed until 11pm.
This power cut forced Kingsbury Green Academy to close on Thursday and send pupils home.
Only those who were sitting their French GCSE and Biology A Level exams were able to stay at the school, with other pupils sent home once parents had granted permission.
