Staff at a B&M store in Wiltshire have been praised after their quick thinking helped to stop suspected thieves.
Workers at the B&M in Warminster say they spotted two women trying to leave the store with a trolley full to the brim with items they had not paid for during an incident on Thursday, July 9.
Discount store staff were quick to react and immediately contacted Warminster Town CCTV video a radio system.
CCTV monitors were then able to catch the suspected thieves getting into a white Ford Galaxy, which was being driven by a man.
PSCO Moore from Wiltshire Police then swooped on the vehicle in Chinns Court, Warminster, and was able to recover a huge haul of items inside worth over £700.
This included large numbers of coffee jars and head and shoulders shampoo.
CCTV operators were then able to direct police officers along Portway Lane where two women and a man were located and arrested.
Following this incident, a man in his 30s from Edmonton has now been arrested and charged with using a vehicle without insurance and a licence, and is due in Salisbury Magistrates Court on October 5.
He has been released on bail in connection with the offence of handling stolen goods.
Two women from Enfield – one aged in her 20s and one in her 30s – have also been arrested on suspicion of theft and have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Staff working at the B&M have been praised by Wiltshire Police for their role in helping catch the suspected criminals.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Thanks to quick thinking, three people were arrested in relation to theft in Warminster yesterday.
"During the afternoon of July 9, staff in B&M spotted two women trying to leave the store with a trolley full of goods without making any attempt to pay for the items.
"Staff contacted Warminster Town CCTV on their Shopwatch radio who spotted the individuals getting into a white Ford Galaxy being driven by a man.
"Inside the vehicle were suspected stolen items worth over £700.
"The suspected stolen items were returned to the stores and the vehicle was seized."
