One of Wiltshire’s fastest growing independent markets is set to return this weekend.
Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to fill the streets of Warminster for the independent August Market on Sunday, August 30, from 10am to 4pm.
More than 125 stalls, food vendors and independent businesses will come together to showcase the town.
The market, organised by Warminster Town Council and Warminster Business Network, promises to bring a lively atmosphere to High Street, Market Place and the Civic Centre.
This year, the council has been keen to book artists and traders selling skincare, jewellery, menswear, flowers and plants.
The independent markets have quickly grown in popularity, championing Warminster’s businesses and becoming must-visit events for residents and visitors.
Roarminster: Warminster’s Dinosaur Trail, running until Saturday, September 5, is also being promoted as part of the market where visitors can visit 50 different retailers.
Warminster mayor Cllr Jack Jones will lead another family-friendly walk around the dinosaur trail on Friday, August 28, ahead of the market.
People should meet at the Civic Centre in Sambourne Road at 6pm before setting off to explore the town with dinosaur costumes encouraged.
