Update after police cordon off Wiltshire banking hub

Police have confirmed that they are investigating an attempted break in at a Wiltshire banking hub.

Officers were called to High Street in Westbury during the early morning of Tuesday, August 25, and a cordon was put in place.

No arrests have been made.

At the time of writing, police remained at the scene of the incident.



A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating an attempted break in at the Westbury banking hub in Westbury High Street reported in the early hours this morning (August 25).

“A scene is currently in place and our enquiries are ongoing. There have been no related arrests.”
