Thousands of residents and visitors braved a spot of wet weather for one of Wiltshire’s fastest growing seasonal markets.
The Warminster Independent August Market returned on Sunday, August 30 and proved to be yet another popular event with High Street, Market Place and the Civic Centre bustling with people.
Featuring 125 stalls, food and drink vendors and independent businesses, there was a lively atmosphere across the town.
Warminster Town Council works alongside the Warminster Business Network to organise the growing independent markets which aim to champion local businesses and attract residents and visitors.
A town council spokesperson said: “Another busy day, with the spotlight once again on our brilliant town.
“This has been a super summer for Warminster with Roarminster attracting thousands of the visitors. The markets offer another event that shows our town remains thriving.
"As always we thank all our independent shops as well as our stallholders and thousands of visitors and residents for continuing to support these independent markets.
“We are so proud of these events, and we will continue to keep supporting and championing this town."
The next instalment will be the Christmas Market on November 29.
