It was a difficult match for Chippenham Ladies but they still managed to take all three points.

Chippenham were a player short but after some frantic telephone calls, found the missing player.

A quick change in the line-up saw captain Sian Rhys-Price come out of goal into defence and allow Carey Cawston to take over the goalkeeping duties.

Chippenham struggled to gain any kind of dominance for the first fifteen minutes of the game, allowing Frys to take an early lead and then double that lead.

Having conceded two goals, Chippenham stepped up to the mark and started to gain control of the game and possession.

Some excellent play in the midfield between Jo White, Laura Kelly, Kay Tucker and Katie Roberts gave Chippenham the opportunity to open up space in the Frys defence and Mary Derrick pulled a goal back and Tucker scoring the equaliser by the end of the first half.

The second half saw Chippenham keep control of possession until Frys made a break for the Chippenham goal. But the attack was dealt with by Leigh Page, Penny Edwards and Sian Rhys-Price and the ball was cleared back up the pitch to the waiting forwards.

Chippenham continued to fight for the winner and their efforts were rewarded as goals from Emily Stevens and a second for Kay Tucker sealed the result.
