Georgie Scott-Green, Emma Holloway and Issy Collings of Chippenham ASC won gold at the British synchronised swimming championships.

The trio were swimming in teams from Bristol Central Swimming Club, one of the top three synchro clubs in the country.

Georgie, a pupil at Hardenhuish School, swam with the 13 to 14 team, while Emma, who attends Abbeyfield, and Issy, from Hardenhuish, were part of the 15 to 17 team.

Coach Susan Scott-Green said: "All three put in many hours of training in Bristol, perfecting their demanding routines.

"They also all train with Chippenham several times a week, coached by Janice Baker and Victoria Smith.

"Their training regime includes not just synchro sessions, but also speed swimming, gymnastics, dance and land-based fitness training, in order to build the strength, flexibility and fitness required to compete in synchro at this level."
