Post offices and village shops in Wiltshire are being urged to enter this year’s Countryside Alliance Awards, dubbed the Rural Oscars.
There is a month left to nominate for the fifth annual awards, voted for the by the public, which celebrates communities, enterprise and rural heritage.
The village shop in Maiden Bradley, near Warminster and Allington Farm Shop on the A420 near Chippenham, are among the businesses already nominated.
Categories include local food award, enterprise award and rural hero of 2009.
