The 68 Westbury Squadron Air Training Corp held its annual presentation at the Conservative Club in Westbury to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday.
The squadron, which meets at the cadet centre in West End on Wednesdays and Friday evenings, was presented with awards by MP Dr Andrew Murrison.
Officer in command Richard Taylor said: “It gives the kids a sense of comradeship and citizenship and where else could you learn to fly and glide for as little as £1 a week?”
The squadron is holding a reunion at The Laverton in Bratton Road, Westbury, on February 9 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £2.50 from Mr Taylor on 01373 826177.
