The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was drafted in to help a horse rider who fell on her head after an accident in Warminster at the weekend.
The incident happened during a class at Warminster Saddle Club, Oxendene, Warminster, at about 2pm on Saturday.
A woman, believed to be in her 30s, fell from her horse and landed on her head and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called and took the woman to Salisbury District Hospital, where she was later discharged that evening.
Yard Manager at the club, Debbie Carroll, said: “The paramedics felt they wanted to take precautionary action and called for the air ambulance.
“She fell from the horse and landed head first onto the school floor so they couldn’t take a risk.
“We’re pleased to say she’s been discharged from hospital and is well.”
