Chippenham Town have confirmed that striker Lewis Powell will remain at the club after turning down a switch to West Country rivals Frome Town.

The 21-year-old had been the subject of a seven-day approach from former Bluebirds boss Darren Perrin but has opted to stay at Hardenhuush Park.

Powell grabbed the assist for Chippenham's first goal in their 2-0 victory over suitors Frome on Bank Holiday Monday.
