Melksham: 11am service at war memorial, followed by cake sale in aid of the Royal British Legion, at the Co-operative Funeralcare office in Church Street, 11.15am.

Seend: 10.45am service at the war memorial in Seend.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12 Imber: St Giles Church will only be open to visitors today and the Ministry of Defence has made strict conditions regarding access to Imber for operational reasons. The act of remembrance will be held at 11am. Anybody wanting to attend the service at St Giles Church must arrive at Vedette Post 2 at Harman Lines, Warminster, by 10.30am, when all vehicles will be escorted to Imber. Anybody arriving after this time will not be allowed access. The vedette post is in Sack Hill; drive along Imber Road, up to Sack Hill, to find the post. After the church service, all vehicles will be escorted back to Harman Lines and not allowed to remain in Imber village.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 13 Bradford on Avon: 10.15am, remembrance service at Holy Trinity Church, followed by a parade through the town, finishing with a ceremony at the war memorial in Westbury Gardens at 10.55am.

Bromham: 3pm, service at St Nicholas Church followed by parade to the war memorial to lay wreaths Broughton Gifford: 10.45am service at St Mary’s Church.

Chippenham: Mayor, councillors and dignitaries, including Duncan Hames MP, will parade from the town hall to St Andrew’s Church, where there will be a service of remembrance at 10am, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial and two minutes’ silence at 11am.

Codford St Mary: 10.45am service at the church.

Corsham: 10.25am, Remembrance Sunday parade leaves the Royal British Legion club on Newlands Road, to arrive at St Bartholomew’s Church for a 10.30am service. A poppy garland, created by pupils at the Corsham School, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion, will decorate the Corsham Town Hall balcony, which will fly the Union Flag as the parade heads to the war memorial at 11.50am.

Devizes: 10.35am parade leaves the Market Place at 10.35am to St John’s Church for service at 11am, followed by laying of wreaths at war memorial.

Seend: 10.40am ceremony at war memorial in the churchyard, followed by church service at 11am.

Heytesbury: 10.45am service at church.

Hilperton: 10.50am, act of remembrance, St Michael and All Angels, The Knap.

Keevil: 10.45am service at St Leonard’s, starting at the war memorial before heading into church. There will also be an evening service at St Saviour’s in Erlestoke at 6.30pm.

Kington Langley: 10.50am, congregations from the Union Chapel Christian Fellowship and St Peter’s Church unite for service of remembrance in St Peter’s Church.

Melksham: 2.40pm, Remembrance parade will depart from King Street car park, making its way along King Street, through the Market Place on to High Street and turning into Church Street, before a service at St Michael and All Angels Church in Canon Square. Following the service, which is due to last between 45 minutes and an hour, the parade will make its way to Melksham Assembly Hall, where refreshments will be served.

Staverton: 10.15am, service and act of remembrance, Staverton School.

Steeple Ashton: 10.40am service at St Mary’s Church, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial in the village, then at the war memorial in Great Hinton.

Sutton Benger: 10.50am remembrance service, All Saints’ Church.

Sutton Veny: 10.45am service at church Trowbridge: 9.15am parade leaves Town Hall to go to St James’ Church via Castle Street, Fore Street, Manvers Street and Church Street before the service begins at 9.45am. At about 10.40am, the parade will leave the church and travel along Silver Street, where there will be a march past and the salute will be taken by Trowbridge Mayor Nick Blakemore. The parade will end at the war memorial, ready for the act of remembrance at 11am. Around 30 wreaths will be laid and the Salvation Army Band will play.

Warminster: 3pm, Remembrance Day service at the war memorial on Portway. The parade starts at 2.45pm from Station Road and will be led by the Band of the Prince of Wales Division.

Westbury: 9.30am, Remembrance Day service at All Saints Church, followed by a service at the war memorial at 10.50am. Before the war memorial service a parade will leave Warminster Road car park at 10.15am, marching through the town centre to the war memorial at the end of the High Street, with the Trowbridge and District Youth Band and uniformed organisations.
