A video showing plans for the interior of Corsham’s new campus has been put online.

The three-minute tour inside the campus was uploaded to YouTube last week and Corsham Shadow Community Operations Board town councillor Allan Bosley is now asking for feedback from residents of the town and wider area.

He said: “The video went online with the purpose of allowing as many people as possible to see it and get a feel for the campus.

“We are very keen for people to comment on it and we would really like to get their views.”

Cllr Bosley said that submitted plans for the campus, known as Springfield, which will be located in Beechfield Road, will be considered by Wiltshire Council’s strategic planning committee at its Bradley Road offices on May 16 at 10.30am.

If the plans are accepted, Cllr Bosley said the Corsham Operations Board would have a hectic 12 months of work ahead.

He said: “We are expecting a pretty intense year, where we’ll be sorting out the management of the campus and its community engagement, which is, of course, essential.”

If plans for the campus, with its new library, meeting rooms and a cafe bar, are passed by Wiltshire Council, building work is expected to be completed in October next year.
