Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has agreed to be patron of the new Wiltshire Air Ambulance charity.
Camilla was patron of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal and has agreed to transfer her patronage to the new charity, Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.
The charity was formed last October after becoming independent from the Great Western Ambulance Service, which was the sole trustee of the Wiltshire AIr Ambulance Appeal.
Richard Youens, chairman of the new charity and who lives in Rushall, said: "We are very lucky to have Her Royal Highness’ continued support of Wiltshire’s Air Ambulance, in which she has always shown a keen interest.
"The paramedics, air crew and police, as well as the trustees and all members of the charity’s staff look forward to welcoming her back to the Air Support Unit in Devizes very soon."
