I would like to thank you so much for choosing the trust as your charity for the Wiltshire Business Awards gala.

You presented me with an excellent opportunity to meet successful businesses in Wiltshire, an opportunity I will not waste.

Your support is hugely appreciated and a great morale boost for the team.

This year we are aiming to be more proactive so that vulnerable people will not have to live in fear of going through the traumatic experience of becoming a victim of house crime.

In the 11 years since the Bobby Van has been in operation, we have had no cases of re-victimisation due to a breach of the home security installed by us.

Without our help these people would not have the financial means to protect themselves and would remain open to becoming victims.

It is impossible to place an amount on the psychological cost of being a victim, but reducing the level of house crime would make an important contribution to reducing the feelings of isolation and exclusion that such experiences bring about.

The trustees and the team are committed to ensure that every elderly, vulnerable or disadvantaged member of our community receives the help they so desperately need and your support will help us achieve this.
