TRICK-OR-TREATERS were blown away by the level of detail and effort a Trowbridge couple put into making their house a Halloween paradise.

David and Sarah Apps, of Widbrook Meadow, spent the last three weeks buying inflatables, making their own spooky graveyard and Halloween video projections for local children in aid of Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

Mr Apps said the feedback he received made their efforts completely worthwhile as so many were mightily impressed by their Halloween house.

“This is the third time we have done it and it was definitely the best so far. People could not believe how good it looked and the children loved it even more,” said the IT worker.

“We used the garage to project Halloween themed things on there to make it spooky. We bought the inflatables on Amazon, made the cemetery archway and the all the smaller bits because we wanted to make the children enjoy the night even more.

“Hopefully we can raise a good amount for the charity too.”
