A NEW business centre to help entrepreneurs and start-ups in Trowbridge opened its doors to the public on Wednesday.

MSO Workspace moved into its new home at the White Horse Business Park, Newmarket Avenue, this week, and has more than 200 workstations which can be set up to meet individual company requirements.

The award-winning company gives entrepreneurs and new businesses a helping hand in their early days as they do not have to worry about overhead costs at the centre, which is arranged over three floors.

Managing director Steve Lyons said: “We are delighted to be in Trowbridge and are really encouraged by the enthusiasm and ambition of the local business community and potential entrepreneurs.

“Our unbranded business centre provides the ideal location and facilities for businesses to realise their ambitions – from fully serviced offices to professional meeting rooms to co-working space where ideas can be exchanged, business relationships established and collaboration between complementary businesses nurtured.

“We have made a significant investment in Trowbridge and we look forward to working with the pro-active local Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Network to truly put Trowbridge on the business map.”

MSO Workspace has business centres across the country, in places such as Birmingham and Northampton and Slough.

The Trowbridge business centre manager Ben Brady said: “This can be for any type of business that wants the freedom to have their own space and not worry about the overhead costs.

“I am so excited about our future in Trowbridge. The amount of interest we have had so far is so encouraging. Hopefully this can be a really successful enterprise.

“I think this is a good way to encourage local businesses to kick on or get a firm foundation.

“Not having to worry about certain things and just paying a small rent to us, can take the pressure off them.

“We have already had parties approach us, which is a good start. The building looks great and it has a very professional look about it. Plus it has wi-fi and broadband too.”
