MORE than £500 worth of damage was caused after vandals broke into a vehicle at a Trowbridge garage and crashed it into other parked cars there.

Police are looking for a group of youths after they entered the site of Langmans, just off of River Way, got into an unlocked car there and released the handbrake, causing it to roll into some cars.

A Jaguar, a Peugeot 406 and a VS Sharan were all damaged in the incident.

A member of the public called the police at 6.15pm, on April 1, but when officers arrived five minutes later the perpetrators had left the area.

Langmans owner, Richard Langman, said: “This follows a series of acts of anti social behaviour in Trowbridge where cars have been broken into. We hope they are caught.”

CCTV enquiries are being carried out and anyone with information is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101.
