MELKSHAM Town Football Club play host a Manchester United Legends side tomorrow for the second time with additions of a couple well-known ex-professional football guests.

The game, which is likely to be very competitive, will also enable the club to support its two chosen charities with an auction to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

The Manchester United Legends team will consist of Wes Brown (part of the treble winning side), David May (part of the winning treble side), Keith Gillespie, Chris Eagles, Danny Webber, Lee Martin (scorer of the FA Cup winning goal against Crystal Palace), Russell Beardsmore, Ben Thornley, Nick Culkin, Chris Casper, Micky Gray (ex-Sunderland and England), Lee Hendrie (ex-Aston Villa and now Sky Sports pundit) and Scotty Murray (Bristol City legend).

The Melksham Town team will consist of their Veterans team, plus a few players who have given great service to the club over the years – including Sayeed Ibrahim, Luke Ballinger and Dave Thompson.

Darren Perrin, director of Melksham Town FC, said: “This will be a fantastic opportunity to not only support your local club, but also perhaps your favourite football team, and also support two wonderful charities at the same time.”

After the game ends, there will also be an auction to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the WAA.

Anyone who would like to make a bid for the items below should contact Darren Perrin on 07855 742960. The bid will stay confidential.
