LOCAL MP Dr Andrew Murrison presented a local business with an award which recognises employers’ efforts to actively support defence personnel and the armed forces community.
The bronze certificate from Armed Forces Covenant for the Employer Recognition Scheme was presented to Warminster-based specialist training consultancy Fides.
Dr Murrison said: “I was delighted to present Fides with its well-deserved award which marks it out as a strong supporter of our military community.”
Fides CEO, Rich Cleverley, said: “We are extremely proud to receive this bronze award and Fides will continue to align its values with the Armed Forces Covenant and promote being an armed forces-friendly organisation.
“Having served with the Army for 30 years, I fully recognise the expertise and skills learnt during a military career, combined with a strong working ethic, are directly transferable and enhance any business.”
