FIREFIGHTERS from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to a series of incidents on Saturday that turned out to be false alarms.
In the first incident, at 9.06am, a crew from Chippenham was mobilised to alarms sounding at a house in Park Avenue, Chippenham.
Crews who arrived within three minutes of receiving the call-out confirmed it was a false alarm.
In the second incident, at 12.57pm, a crew from Melksham was mobilised to alarms sounding at a domestic property in Dorset Crescent, Melksham. It also turned out to be a false alarm.
In the third incident, at 4.49pm, a crew from Trowbridge was called out to alarms sounding at a house in Wingfield Road, Trowbridge, which also turned out to be a false alarm.
