The funeral of four children who died in a house fire in Stafford will be held next week.
Riley Holt, eight, Keegan Unitt, six, Tilly Rose Unitt, four, and three-year-old Olly Unitt, died in the blaze on February 5 at their end-of-terrace home in Sycamore Lane, Highfields.
Staffordshire Police said relatives of the victims have requested privacy at the service next Tuesday, which will be for family and close friends only.
The force said in a statement: “They have suggested members of the public might wish to show their support by putting teddy bears or similar children’s toys in their windows on Tuesday in memory of the children.”
A procession will progress through Highfields estate from about midday and then on through Silkmore Lane, Radford Bank and Baswich Lane to Stafford Crematorium.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date, when the local community will be welcomed.
