The Wiltshire branch of armed forces charity SSAFA is launching a community arts project commemorating the centenary of the start of the First World War.
Through the 100 Hearts for 100 Years project, people can recreate the sweetheart pin cushions made by wounded soldiers during the war as they recuperated from their injuries.
The charity, with the help of the Royal School of Needlework, will team up with community craft groups to make 100 sweethearts.
They will feature the badges of regiments which passed through the county on their way to the Western Front.
