LEADERS Airsprung lost their unbeaten record in the West Wilts five-a-side league when they lost 10-4 to league sponsors and now league leaders Barber Shop Trio on Sunday.

Man of the match was Airsprung goalkeeper Andy Lawson, who made some brilliant saves to keep the score down.

The second game was between Melksham Untouchables and Dynamo Hollies of Westbury.

Untouchables raced to a 3-0 lead which included a superb solo goal from defender Jeremy Almond, who won the ball deep in his own half and then dribbled around two players before calmly slotting the ball past Matt Redwood in the Dynamo Hollies goal.

Untouchables then let their lead slip with two quick goals from Dynamo Hollies, including a great long range effort from the halfway line.

Untouchables stepped back up a gear and ended up winning 10-5 helped by a hat trick from the long-serving Roger Ingram. This result leaves Untouchables unbeaten and second in the table.

Man of the match was Jeremy Almond, not just for his great solo goal but for his solid display at the back.

Week 4 of the league takes place on May 13 at Leighton Sports Centre, Westbury, from 1pm with the game of the day the encounter between third-placed Airsprung and fourth-placed Westbury Rangers.
