BRADFORD Town remain unbeaten in the Toolstation League Premier Division on Wednesday night but were forced to settle for a point from their clash with Cadbury Heath.

With eight games gone, Danny Greaves’ side are yet to taste defeat in the league and sit fifth in the table but they missed out on the chance to go level on points with leaders Bristol Manor Farm following a 1-1 draw against the Heathens.

Alex Monks put Bradford a goal to the good when he converted from the penalty spot at the half-hour mark but Simon McElroy finished from a tight angle to level things up just moments into the second period.

I"t was a little bit frustrating because we had enough chances to win the game but to be honest, so did Cadbury Heath," said Greaves.

"We’re unbeaten, which is great – the only other unbeaten team are Bristol Manor Farm – but we looked tired.

"We’ve had a lot of games recently and I think it’s caught up with us.

"We have to remember that we’re a new group of players and it’s going to take time for us to all get used to each other.

"To have players coming in to the dressing room disappointed with a draw – that’s a good mentality to have."

On Saturday, Greaves’ men won 3-1 at Cribbs, with Dan Cottle grabbing a brace whilst Anthony Conradi was also on target, Liam Clayton grabbing a late consolation goal for the home side.
